The benefits of using Zoom Meeting Assistant to join a Zoom Meeting

You will obtain an accurate list of all Speaker names. Without Joining a meeting, the Speaker names are obtained from the names of the individual audio recordings and are missing spaces and punctuation.
You will obtain an accurate list of all Participants even those who did not speak.
If multiple speakers joined by a phone, you will obtain names of those Speakers. Otherwise, they would all be clumped together as a Phone Speaker.
If you are a Participant (not a Host) then the recording will be started automatically after host gives you a permission to start the recording.
(Once Chat is handled by the Transcribe App). You will get more accurate placement of chat messages w.r.t. the time in the audio recording and transcript.

How to Join a Meeting from the Zoom Meeting Assistant

You can select Join Zoom Meeting ... option

and then enter either the Meeting URL or the meeting ID and password
