NOTE:  this applies only to the case when OIDC SSO is not enabled for the given Edge deployment.


If your Edge install is capable of sending emails the you can allow users (e.g. your company employees) to sign-up for the Transcribe App just by going to the signup page (https://{your transcribe app hostname}:{port}/transcribe-app/signup) and entering their email and the signup code.

Before that can work, two things need to be configured in the Account settings.


These are:

  • The email domains that will be accepted for signup. Normally, these would be your company email domains. Note that you need to enter a comma or press enter after each domain that you enter.
  • The signup code. This can be something very short, or a very long random code - whichever you prefer. You will need to include it in the email that that you will send to your employees announcing the availability of the Transcribe App for their signup and use.
